One of the best pairs Ive had in years, these feel really sturdy, well built, and Id say Middle weight overall, not as light as speed chucks, not as heavy as your Ebony/Jatoba/Teak chucks. Im really pleased with my pair, tested them for ours the first 3 days. Id recommend this pair for combat or self defense as they pack a punch!. Other uses include Kata, Tricking, and Target practice (Be careful as they may rip a training dummy, no issues hitting the Punching bag)Pros:Middle wight, Good balance, Very sturdy, the ball bearings add stability and rotation to your spins.
Cons:Its really hard to see a down side to these ( I ordered 2 more pairs after testing) Not recommended as props or For people with enough training and knowledge on how to use them. These are not toys and A) They will hurt you really bad, in case of mishap. And B) Owning a pair of these doesnt make you Bruce Lee or A Ninja. And finally check your state law to see if its Illegal to carry them, conceal them, or use them outside the Dojo.
