I would recommend to a friend

Very Solid Product 5 I'm a pretty big guy. 6' 220lbs. The XL was a perfect comfortable fit. Nice lightweight protection on all 3 sides. very solid construction. Highly recommended.

Pros:Lightweight, durable feel, 3 side protection, easy on easy off, reversible, very affordable.

Cool Chest Protector, but... 4 This is a cool chest protector. Easy for the kid to put on himself without assistance. Double pad protection in the front. Light weight, good craftsmanship. Only problem I have is the Child size (CHS) small seems the same as child size Large (CHL). Should have bought a small or a medium.

Pros:Good Quality, easy to put on and take off, double pad front.

Cons:CHL size too small.
